When you give away a printed golf ball, you give more than a gift: you give a brand that is recognised instantly on the course. Titleist built that reputation through a relentless focus on one thing — a ball that behaves the same way on every shot. From the opening drive to the final putt, a serious golfer wants predictability, and it is precisely that reliability that has kept Titleist the most-played ball in the bags of tour professionals worldwide for generations.
For your logo, that matters in a concrete way. A recipient who recognises the Pro V1 or Pro V1x subconsciously links your company or club name to quality and care. That is exactly the association you want from a corporate gift. It is a subtle but powerful signal: giving away a tour ball shows you consider the relationship worth the best.
That status is also why golf clubs, resorts and companies are keen to put their logo on a Titleist rather than on a nameless ball. The name carries years of credibility that you cannot fake in a print — you simply borrow it. Not sure which model suits your audience best? The golf ball selector guides you in a few steps, or put your question straight to us via contact.
Every Titleist model we personalise has a smooth, even surface that lends itself perfectly to a crisp print in one to five spot colours. Even so, each model has its own character worth weighing up.
Whichever model you choose, we show you a digital proof first, so you see exactly how your logo lands on that specific ball before anything is printed.
Choosing the right ball is less about finding "the best" and more about finding "the best for this purpose". A few guidelines we apply in practice:
Want to match this to your budget and the number of recipients? Explore the wider options under applications or ask Mark for advice. As a PGA professional he knows both the ball characteristics and the expectations of golfing recipients.
On an expensive ball you want the logo to be right to the millimetre. Golf balls are usually printed around the side (next to the maker's mark) or on the pole. A clean, symmetrical logo gives a tidy result; for a wide or unusually shaped logo we look together at the best scale and position so it does not disappear into the dimples.
A few practical points that make the difference: supply your logo as a vector file for razor-sharp edges, provide your brand colours as PMS/Pantone values, and bear in mind the existing Titleist maker's mark that stays on the ball. You can read more about supplying artwork correctly in our knowledge base under supplying your logo and how many colours you are best off using.
A golf ball is small, but the way you hand it over shapes the impression. Titleist balls come in tidy dozen packs and sleeves of three, which makes them suitable as a standing gift on a desk or as a give-away at a dinner. For a corporate gift a dozen often works better than loose balls: it feels complete and ready to use.
When giving them away, mind the recipient's level. A keen single-figure handicapper values a Pro V1 more than anyone; an occasional player is just as pleased with a TruFeel and barely notices the difference on the course. A dozen that matches how someone actually plays always lands better than the most expensive model left sitting in a cupboard.
